HH Sheikh Nahyan, UAE Minister for Higher Education, Visits Litaker Group Course in Abu Dhabi
On Monday October 13, 2008, the UAE Minister for Higher Education, HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, and the Higher Colleges of Technology Vice Chancellor, Dr. Tayeb Kamali visited The Litaker Group course on disaster management.
This is the first time this course has been offered by the Higher Colleges of Technology. Its objective was to introduce students to principles of disaster management and to provide some hands on experience with case studies and a simulated tabletop exercise.
The Litaker Group and HCT have announced that five additional courses will be taught in 2009.
