The Litaker Group continues to expand within its core practice areas of health and medical preparedness, emergency preparedness, and business continuity. Currently, we are interested in speaking with individuals about potential contract, part-time, and short-term positions for work in our home service area of Austin, Texas and for international projects. Minimum qualifications:
- 10 or more years of continuous, direct, and relevant work experience in one or more of our core practice areas of health and medical preparedness, emergency preparedness, evaluation and research, or business continuity planning
- 5 years of increasing management responsibility
- Increasing responsibilities during your career
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in health and medical preparedness, emergency preparedness, or business continuity activities
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders
- Excellent writing and presentation skills as demonstrated by specific reports or publications to internal and external audiences
- Experience in evaluation, research, and quality metric activities
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of CDC, HRSA, and HPP funding streams
- Knowledge of emergency management
- Advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, hospital administration, psychology, economics, or public administration
- Professional qualifications in a health care field
- Experience working within a legislative framework
- Experience working in a state / federal government agency / department
- Experience with facilitation services, focus groups, and work groups
- Ability to travel statewide, nationally, and internationally
